Spreading Hope: Our Hamper Drive Initiative

QEMTT has been involved in distributing over 500 hampers filled with essential goods and festive treats to single parents and marginalized individuals across the community. This initiative, known as the QEMTT Hamper of Hope, has been a beacon of support since its inception in 2022. Instead of receiving personal gifts, Mrs. Esther Ramkissoon, the president and founder of Queen Esther’s Ministries, encourages individuals to contribute to this meaningful cause, ensuring that those in need receive assistance during the Easter season..

Each year, the anticipation builds among single parents and guardians who rely on the generosity of the community through this hamper drive. These hampers not only provide tangible support with food and essentials but also uplift spirits and foster a sense of community care. For those who are marginalized, this initiative represents more than just material goods—it signifies inclusivity and compassion.

In 2023, Mrs. Ramkissoon dedicated the days leading up to her 31st birthday to personally oversee the distribution efforts. With a team of dedicated volunteers, she ensured that every hamper reached its intended recipients, spreading joy and relief during a time that can be financially challenging for many families.

Through the QEMTT Easter Hamper of Hope Initiative, Queen Esther’s Ministries continues to exemplify the spirit of giving and solidarity within the community. Mrs. Ramkissoon’s commitment to this cause not only reflects her personal values but also inspires others to contribute to the well-being of their neighbors in need
