Empowering Futures: Our' Back-to-School Initiative
Every year, Queen Esther’s Ministries organizes a back-to-school drive where children receive book bags filled with stationary items, giving them the tools they need to succeed academically. Additionally, families benefit from hampers of groceries, easing the financial burden and allowing parents the peace of mind that their children can start the school year on a nutritious foundation.
The school initiative represents a significant investment, totaling over 120,000TT, which has been generously donated by various sponsors who share a commitment to making a positive impact in the community. Queen Esther’s Ministries hopes to continue these partnerships to expand their reach and support even more families in need.
The back-to-school drive is more than just a distribution event—it’s a community service that brings families together from across Trinidad. The event includes a service tailored for children and their families, fostering a sense of unity and support among attendees. Notably, the Trinidad and Tobago prison service has also joined hands with Queen Esther’s Ministries, demonstrating their commitment to rehabilitation and community engagement by allowing inmates to share inspiring stories and advice with the children and parents present.
Through these collaborative efforts, Queen Esther’s Ministries not only equips children with the necessary tools for learning but also instills hope and encouragement within the community. The support from sponsors and partners ensures that this initiative continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Trinidadian families, encouraging them to strive for a brighter future.
