About Me:
Responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization, Mrs Ramkissoon drives the mission, fundraising, operations, and engagement with the board of directors. She has single-handedly made the organization by aligning the day-to-day work with values around family, quality education, sound biblical principles and meeting the physical as well as spiritual needs of those who are vulnerable in society.
Exuding a dynamic leadership style that motivates, Esther successfully balances the budget, created a team of 12 members, and built a new non profit model. She has since raised hundreds of thousands in aid of those in need and has been working all year round in Trinidad and Tobago to have a long lasting positive impact on society.
She is a strong leader within the sector, making her a dynamic advocate for the entire nonprofit industry. She has extensive experience in what it means to beat all odds and survive through an abusive home, homelessness, poverty, and lack of physical, emotional and mental needs. Having fought her way through these many trials and tribulations, she is simply giving to others the opportunity that she was never afforded.
Mrs Ramkissoon also serves on several other boards such as the Secretary/Treasurer for the International Christian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), the assistant secretary for the National Alliance of Faith and Justice (NAFJ) as well as the Secretary for the Board of Deacons at her local church.
Esther continues to also represent her country as a young woman making a positive impact in society both locally and internationally, being one of the first to have been chosen from Trinidad and Tobago to represent QEMTT at the 17th International Youth for Human Rights Summit 2023 held at the United Nations Headquarters. Mrs Ramkissoon was one of the 10 speakers among 67 countries represented at the United Nations, giving her the opportunity to speak on the right of every child to quality education and having her speech streamed to 193 countries via the UN WEB TV.
Through QEMTT, Esther has also afforded her volunteers who are pursuing tertiary education to have the opportunity to receive glowing recommendation based on their hard work and dedication to the NGO. As a result multiple volunteers have been awarded scholarships to further their studies.
She strongly believes that those we fail to educate we will eventually incarcerate. As such Mrs Ramkissoon continues to encourage each and everyone to partner with QEMTT and make a difference. Additionally, she believes if we give a little we will help a lot
